Special Yankee Programs Update

At my most recent Northeast Chapter’s Presidents’ meeting, our Regional Representative, David Ellis, brought up our chapter and the many things we do! I was honored, and you as Yankee Chapter members should be too. He especially spoke of our Apprentice Hunter Programs for our youth and women. I have always shared our Barking Dog Express and now our Barking Dog Express Eblast with David. He in turn sends it to all NE Region Chapters, encouraging them to share their chapter activities too.

It’s been a great year for the Yankee Chapter’s Youth and Women’s Programs. Your generosity has paid camp tuitions to the Bryant Pond Outdoor Learning Center, purchased youth t-shirts, International memberships, chapter memberships, supported our Women’s Apprentice Hunter Program, conducted a Hunter Safety Course, paid a youth’s test fees, and at least a couple Maine Lifetime Hunting Licenses. I am very proud to add two names as our Maine Lifetime Hunting License recipients!

And, drum roll……….?    Nate, Lindsay and Lenny Becker.

Again, thank you to our generous members for their support. Lastly I want to add Frances and Helen Petros’ donation on behalf of her late brother John.
